The UT CFD graduate program has matriculated over two dozen PhD and MSc students in the past decade or so. Most graduates have moved into professionally challenging career positions in the CFD field. The following briefly summarizes their current professional environment and contact information.

  Has worked at Oak Ridge National Laboratory since graduation with BS ME from Auburn University in 1988.

• Kevin Kilpatrick (PhD, 2001)
  Major, USAF, with logistics management responsibilities.

  Research and Development Manager at Flow Sciences Inc. in Wilmington, South Carolina.

• Zacharia Chambers (PhD, 2000)
  Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering, Rose Hulman University, Terre Haute, Indiana. 

• Atish Mitra (MSc, 2000)
  Working towards a PhD in mathematics, University of Tennessee, Knoxville. 

• David Chaffin (PhD, 1997)
  Employed as a Digital Analyst at Texas Technical University.

• Allen Crabtree (MSc, 1997)
  Has worked at Oak Ridge National Laboratory since receiving his BS NE degree from UTK in 1992.

• Kwai Wong (PhD, 1995)
  Senior Research Scientist, UT Joint Institute for Computational Science (JICS), working in the parallel computational engineering sciences (CES).

• Lamar Lepard (MSc, 1995)
  Has worked at Oak Ridge National Laboratory since graduation with BS ME from Auburn University in 1988.

• Subrata Roy (PhD, 1994) sroy@kettering.edu Has worked at Oak Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering, Kettering University, Hint, MI.

• Kara Kruse (MSc, 1994)
  Research scientist at ORNL.

• Paul Williams (PhD, 1993)
  At Oak Ridge National Laboratory since MSc from Georgia Tech, 1976, now a senior staff member in the Computational Sciences and Mathematics Division.

• Ed Schaub (MSc, 1993)
  A CFD specialist.

• Jim Freels (PhD, 1992)
  Staff engineer in fluid-thermal-structural analysis issues in high radiation environments at ORNL.

• Joe Iannelli (PhD, 1991)
  Came to UTK upon completion of the Lauria degree (~MSc) in aerospace engineering in 1987 at University of Palermo, Italy, is Associate Professor in MABE department at UT.

• Dean Carter (MSc, 1989)
  Joined NASA Marshall Space Flight Center technical staff upon degree completion.

• Albert Hines (MSc, 1988)
  CES specialist involved in fluid-thermal casting simulation at ALCOA, Pittsburg, PA.
